Hi, I am searching for Annie Lewis who was born in TX, not sure if it was in Travis or the next county over. She married William "Bill" Williams (born in NC) in TX in 1883. I found them on the 1900 Travis County census. (William died in 1925 and she remarried to a Lacy.) Annie's father is John Lewis and mother was Kathryn E. Reese, according to a great aunt. But I haven't been able to find them to verify. Any help would be appreciated if those surnames seem familiar to your Lewis line. That John Lewis is age 26, a school teacher, and born in Alabama. His wife is Josephine, age 23, born in Georgia. Their eldest child is a daughter named Anna, age 3, born in Alabama.
