Nichols, who, along with his family, settled in Travis Co. TX about 1860. He had one son, Albert W. Nichols who apparently never married and who served as the jailor for the Travis Co. Jail in 1880. Daughter, Mary M. Nichols married Samuel Cooper in 1858. Daughter, Sarah E. Nichols married Dennis Corwin in 1862. Daughter, Ann, married John S. Barnhart in 1866. Daughter, Margaret L. Nichols married James Orville Boyce in 1869. Daughter, Harriet M. Nichols married J.C. Cox in 1870. Would like to discuss family history with any descendants from the above families.
