Don, If you're trying to find out where he lived in 1942, call or e-mail either the Genealogy Division of the Texas State Library or the Austin History Center. I have heard that the Genealogy Division will respond if it's as simple a look-up as that, and I have gotten excellent service by e-mail from the Austin History Center in getting a copy of an obituary from a microfilmed newspaper. If, however, you want someone to check every directory from 1942 until he disappears from the listings, as a method to figure out a likely death date, I think they aren't staffed to do that. Good luck.
