    2. Jackie
    3. Is there anyone on this list that could look at a Confederate widow's pension for me next time you research at the state archives? I don't require a copy of the record but am interested in the widow's pension for Mrs. L. W. PRESLEY (#37137). I am interested in the marriage information contained in it - such as who she was married to before L.W. Presley, her maiden name, who might have signed with/for her. Thanks Jackie Presley

    3. Jackie, I don't know about the marriage records, but Caruso's on Sixth Street was a favorite of my in-laws in the 1960s -- maybe before, but that's when I started going to Caruso's with them. I loved that old building. Do you have a photo of their tombstone? I live down the street from Austin Memorial Park and would be glad to go take a photo and send it to you.
