    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CAC.2ACI/630 Message Board Post: Looking for any information of the Mack family who lived in Travis County (Austin) Texas in the 1870's, 1880's, 1890's, 1900's. My gggrandmother was named Sallie Mack and she was married to Dan Mack. They had some children named Lucindar (Lucy Mae), James, Alexander and Thomas Mack. There were two other however names are unknown. I do see Sallie living with her family in the census however Dan was NOT listed in the household so it is assumed that he died or remarried. On my ggrandmother's death certificate Dan was listed as being born in Penn. and Sallie was born in Virginia.....all the children were born in Belton, Texas. Sallie later remarried to a B. Cook as I do see them in the 1880 census living with Lucindar and Alexandar. If you have a Dan Mack in your tree from the Travis County area please contact me at missharlem73@aol.com. Also if anyone has knowledge of these names in their slave records.

    1. Lookup: cemetery, death, probate, administration, court records
    2. Lee Anne Center
    3. I am looking for probate/will/administration records or cemetery records in either Travis county or Bell county on William Lumpkins/Lumpkin (b. abt. 1805 TN), who died some time between 1880 and 1900, give or take a couple of years. In 1880, he is 75 and in the household of his daughter Irena T. Center. She later lived in Bell County until the early 1900s. If there is a record, William's record may be under William L. Lumpkins. Does anyone on the list have have an index for probate/will/administration records or cemetery records? Or can you recommend a good book that indexes this type of thing? Lee Anne

    1. Stevensons of Del Valle
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/CAC.2ACI/629 Message Board Post: Looking for the name of the Stevenson man that married Louise McCullough, daughter of GB McCullough. She had a son named Milton born in 1902, daughter Robie, 1905, and Ed and Edna born 1907. In 1900 in Bastrop County they, the James Miles Stevenson family (next door) and Benjamin P Templeton's farm were on the same page in the census record. James Miles Stevenson and Martha A Hancock had John Calvin who stayed in McClennan County when the family moved to Bastrop County, James (born 1872 AR) Charles (Charley), Moses (Moze), and Josiah Watt Stevenson. These Stevensons moved back and forth on the Bastrop & Travis County lines, settling in the area of Del Valle. Milton is a family name, and in 1900 Louise McCullough's family was next door to them, so I think Charles Stevenson may be the father of Milton, but I would like to know for certain. I am also trying to locate the burial plots of the Stevensons. I believe J M & Martha may be buried in or near Del Valle.

    3. To me, "application date" should be the date the application for a marriage license was applied for. NOT the date sombody typed it into their on line system 30, 40 or 100 years later. Marriage dates are not correct either, mine is shown as 1-1-1963 true date was 12-5-1963. My sons is shown as 1-1-1984 true date was 18-8-1984. Go figure!! 3. Oh well, so much for that thought! Someone input info that didn't know what they were doing.
