Hi I am searching for a friend of my daughters who was living in Austin, Tarrant County, TX in the 1970's. His name is Kenneth Jordan. He was born in Artesia, New Mexico in 1953-1960 and lived in Midland, Texas where he graduated in about 1974-75. He then moved to Austin and we lost him. His mother's name was Norma Jordan and his father's name was Kirk Jordan and they were divorced when Ken was about 8-12. He has a brother named Greg Jordan. If anyone knows him or his wherabouts tell him Jackie and her daughter Juli would love to visit with him - or give me his whereabouts the last time you knew of him. He was a very good friend to my daughter and she thinks about him a lot and would love to talk to him. Back to genealogy - I am researching the LEDBETTER and TILL families and I would appreciate any information you might have on the following: Jennettie "Nettie" Irene LEDBETTER b 11/18/1893 in Spring Creek, San Saba County, TX, d 2/1973 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co, TX, m 7/20/1908 in Mills County, TX to Scott E. RUTHERFORD, b 4/11/1889 and d 10/1967 in Ft. Worth, Tarrant County, TX. Scott, who was a long time railroad worker, & Jennettie, who was a registered nurse, lived in Ft. Worth and had one son, Raymond RUTHERFORD. I haven't determined Raymonds birth or death date but believe he would have been born between 1908 and 1925 probably in Ft. Worth, TX. I believe Raymond moved to Las Cruces, Dona Anna County, NM but I don't know the date or if he stayed there. I believe he was a school teacher/principal.
