I am seeking information on B. F. Vantreese who resided in the Masonic Home on Division St. in Arlington from September of 1913 until his death on December 31, 1913. He was, according to his death certificate, buried in Arlington, TX on Jan. 1, 1914. He was a member of the Fort Worth Masonic Lodge#940. I cannot find where he was buried. The Home and the Masons do have a record on him but not where he is buried. I have checked the DAR Cemetery Records at the Fort Worth Library to no avail. According to the Masonic Home, he had a son in Fort Worth in 1913 (could have been Claude or Jasper), and there is a Margaret Vantreese buried in Fort Worth. Ben was my great grandfather. He was a Confederate Army veteran and received a pension starting in 1899. His widow, Mary Susan Cooper Vantreese, lived in Jones Co. after his death and is buried in Kenedy, Karnes Co. south of San Antonio. Does anyone have any suggestions or recognize any of these names? Thanks for any help or suggestions, Patsy Love Knight pknight@arlington.net Surnames: Love, Vantreese, Biggs, Simmons, Caudle, Hamrick, McConnell, O'Donnell, Knox, Houston, Duren, Tuck, Cooper. ============================================================
