    1. Fort Worth Genelogical Society
    2. Hi To answer questions I have been receiving: Footprints is a quarterly journal published by the Fort Worth Genealogical Society (FWGS). They print historical and genealogical information from cemeteries, bible records, old letters, marriage books, newspapers, the list of sources are endless. To receive their publication you must be a member for a mere $18.00 a year. FWGS is online and can be found at http://www.Chrysalis.org/business/fwgen/default.htm or you can follow the link on the Tarrant County Page. Click on Tarrant County Resources go down to Footprints and click on more information. Check with your library for back issues of Footprints, this has been my best source of information on my ancestors. Someone posted on the list that FWGS is soon to release a CD of all their back issues that is highly searchable. This will be a great help for all of us researching in Tarrant County and for those who's library doesn't carry the Footprints. I know nothing about this CD but if and when it is announced in Footprints or the FWGS newsletter I will post the information on the list. I do not live in Tarrant County so I cannot help anyone with research. The FWGS and the Pioneer Rest Cemetery Ass. are joining together to collect, compile, and publish information related to those interred in Pioneer Rest Cemetery. Pioneer Rest Cemetery is the oldest in Fort Worth. So we will have this to look forward to. A big Thank You to Jean who provides this mail list and the Tarrant County Page so that we may share information. Without her hard work none of this would be possible. After visiting other county pages, I am so proud of the Tarrant County Page, she has done an excellent job. Janis
