    3. Hello Jacob, I am fairly new to researching genealogy but I am going to the Arkansas History Commission at Little Rock, Arkansas, tomorrow (well, it is 12:44 am here so I guess that would be today). I plan on doing some research on my DuPuy line who has a couple born in Tarrant County around 1886. I will try to remember to see if there is anything on the name you mentioned. If so, I will send it thru this board later in the day when I return. Births should be recorded with the mother's name, I would think, if there were no acknowledged father. Is the name you provided the last name of the mother? Clarify the mother's name and the son's name and I will be happy to see if I can discover anything for you.
