I am looking for help with my Powell/Shirley/Blount connection. My gggrandfather married Martha L. (Shirley) Blount in Tarrant Co., on Dec. 24, 1891. Martha had previously been married to a unknown Blount and they had one child Etta Blount. My grandfather had also been married previously and had three children. His name was John Wesley Powell. Can anyone tell me if either of these two families are on the 1880 census in Tarrant Co? Or if there is any information on this Mr. Blount? I assume he must have died there. Dont suppose she went to far with a small baby? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Gina McGuire
