We might add another upcoming event that may be of interest to those in the Tarrant County area. The Fort Worth Genealogical Society is presenting a Computer Workshop for Genealogists featuring John Vincent Wylie and Barbara Brixey Wylie on Saturday, October 24th, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Computer Workshop will have four session: Session 1: Basic Concepts for Using a Computer in Genealogical Research Session 2: Gathering Information: Ya Gotta Know the Territory Session 3: Novices, Nerds and NOtables - Genealogists Using the Internet Session 4: Sharing Information with the Rest of the Family At the end there will be a question and answer session. The workshop will be held at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, 3500 Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, Room 108, lower level. This is where the Society holds their monthly meetings on the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Reservations for the Workshop are $20 for members and $25 for non-members. Seating is limited.
