Sarah Moss, b about 1838 Carnesville, GA m 31 Jul 1864 Elisha Cheek. She had three children by Elisha: James R Cheek, Elizabeth Cheek and William M. Cheek. Elisha abandoned the family while they were living in White County TN. Between Jun 1880 and Nov 1880 Sarah moved her family to Denison TX. We have not picked up her trail since Nov 1880. James R Cheek was found to be living in Galveston, and Elizabeth joined him a year or two later before 1897. I have information that a Sarah Ann Cheek is listed in the Index of Grapevine History Book on page 147.
