I recently looked at all the great info. on the Tarrant County web pages. I tried to find the creek near the house where I was born, but was not able to identify it from the creek information there. I think my parents called it Bear Creek, and it was near Smithfield. If someone happens to know this creek, I would be interested in knowing its exact name. (I saw only a Little Bear Creek listed on the webpage info.) Also, can someone tell me what map would be best to use, to look this up myself? Is there anything detailed enough on the internet?
