Just so you know; there is no, never was, a "McDonnell Douglas AFB" in Ft. Worth. There is an airbase (now closed and used for reserve training) called Carswell Air Base. Next to this base and sharing the runway was General Dynamics. This was sold to McDonnell-Douglas a few years ago, hence the name confusion.
