Searching for the gravesite of my g/g/grandfather, Hiram Z. Webster - said to have died and buried in "Fort Worth." I shall say the Fort Worth area. The family had been in west Texas as some place called "Southland," but after a few years they sold out and moved to be near their daughter, Carrie, a nurse in Fort Worth. I believe his date of death would have been after 1915. They moved from Iowa to Texas about 1912. Hiram Zenas Webster was born in Madison County, Illinois in 1829. His wife, Mary, moved with a daughter to Dearborn where she died. There are no records of any family members having remained in Texas. I have queried two of the cemetery lists. If anybody happen to find his gravesite or spot his name in county records, I hope you'll remember my query? Thanks a lot! Dotte
