My gg grandfather, Thompson Mason, pre-empted 320 acres ca. 1854, on the clear fork of the trinity; I have some info from state land office Archives. Where do I find information on Robertson land dist and who was entitled to that land. Is there a list of the original applicants? Thompson mason was killed by indians in the "Mason/ Cameron Massacre" apr.18, 1858 in Jack county. I am seeking any info prior to that. Thank you boyd bkm@bitterroot.net
