Hello Everyone, RootsWeb has gone ahead with their plans to restrict access of the mailing list to only the subscribers. This is now a closed list. Most of you will not notice any differences. You will read and post messages exactly as before. If you have been posting messages from locations other than the account that is subscribed, you will notice something. You will not be able to post messages from anywhere other than the subscribed address unless you request that other accounts are added to the "Accept List." You will not be required to subscribe multiple accounts just to post from multiple accounts. Example: Account Subscribed is: myregular@email.com Add to Accept List: mywife@email.com mywork@job.com myalias@hotmail.com With the above example, the subscriber may post messages from any of four e-mail accounts, yet receives messages at only one account. I must add accounts manually to the "Accept List." You need only to send me your requests. Please don't go overboard. In other words...
