She was brought to Birdville to live with him. She was the wife of Comanche Chief Nocona and mother of Quannah Parker. After her 'freedom' she was brought into Ft. Worth, to a store of general merchandise and just sat in a chair, terribly homesick, while citizens of the town came by to look at her. It was not an act of cruelty in intent, it was just that she was a curiosity.
