Hello, I'm wondering if anyone on this list has attempted to obtain records from the Volunteers of American Home that was located in Ft Worth in 1923. That was the year my mother was adopted from there. Does it take a court order to open the records? Would the father's name be recorded? If anyone can give me advice, I'd be very appreciative.
