Until recently, I wasn't one to read obituaries. Today I was sorting out some magazines and newspapers while cleaning house for my husband's upcoming hearing aid Open House. I found a small pile of his recent Kiwanis Ki-Notes papers. If you had a relative in OK or TX that passed away recently and you know was in Kiwanis, you might be interested in the small obit this paper placed in their honor. All but four are males. I will type the surnames in the order they appear, putting an f- in front of those four females. Most of the mentions are very brief but a few give a little more info. If you think one of them might be yours, please email me privately as it may be awhile before I get around to reading my list mail. I now have 70 unread Digest Mode messages, equal to over 1000 posts. Besides being busy getting ready for the Open House, I have been in a wheel chair almost two weeks due to a fractured ankle. Poor timing, huh? :) WARE, JONES, MERCHANT, SCANTIAN, HAYES, NEILAN, CARR, CANFIELD, HOWE, SPIROFF, HAFNER, HENDERSON, f-HADDICK, KLOSTERMAN, DUKE, WELSH, EVANS, AUSTIN, PERRYMAN, JUHLIN, VASSALLO, STEWART, MERCHANT, HOEHN, LATHEM, WAGNER, BEYMER, f-PEEL, BEARDSLEE, COMSTOCK, RAMSAY, WILLIAMS, BAILEY, RABB, GRIFFITH, THOMPSON, LAIRD, CANTU, MILLER, HORTON, WILSON, FISH, CROSS, f-LOKEY, MIERS, JONES, NIEDERMAIER, GILLSON, BECKHAM, f-SISSONS, LOBB, KEENER.
