    3. Mike, I just sort of wondered upon a msg about this, but I can atest that this has done wonders for my own research. The death certificates will run you $9 each. I did an inter-library loan with them while I was in Okinawa, and did it through the library there. Didn't cost me a thing, but that's because they did that sort of thing then. If the library doesn't support that sort of thing, you'll pay the cost, which aren't much, I don't believe. But you can borrow up to 5 rolls. Just be sure and make copies of al the surnames you are researching, as you can always come back to them instead of having to do another loan. It's a good investment to have. I've got several folders I've made, broken down into different surnames. I don't know what else to say except that it has really helped my research. The whole film is broken down into last name, first name, county where the death certificate was filed, then the number, which is what you use to make your request. You'll need a copy of you I.D. (driver's license) to go with your request. You'll find everything you need on the web-page that was just sent to you, for the TX State Library Archives. Good luck, and oh yes, I believe you can have the film up to 30 days, so that helps. Good luck!!! And definitely do this! You'll not regret it!! Teresa
