The list is working as intended. > And that brings me back to this list. I spent an hour searching for > information on the library / "a" historical society or genealogical society > in Ft. Worth without success. It sounds like you may not have found the Tarrant County GenWeb site yet. There are links on the site to both the Fort Worth Public Library and the Fort Worth Genalogical Society. > Would one of the members of the list tell us what "all" is in the > genealogical section of the library? There are very informative pages on Tarrant County cemeteries and our library does have everything known to be published on them. Our web pages will tell you everywhere each cemetery has been published. Marriage records have only been published from 1876 through 1901 and the library has them. Our web site also have a bibliography of published works pertaining to the county, most of which can be found in our library. The genealogical society's quarterly "Footprints" continually publishes lists of the library's newest acquisitions. - Rob Yoder http://www.rootsweb.com/~txtarran/ - Tarrant County, Texas GenWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~txfwgs/ - Fort Worth Genealogical Society
