Hello. I am searching for info on my grandfather, Andrew Jackson Jones. I am not sure if he was originally from Tx, or Ok., but one of his daughters believes he came from TX. He died in Ft. Worth area in 1953 or 1954, and is buried at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Ft. Worth. He is buried in the same section as Lee Harvey Oswald. Andrew lived in Seminole, OK for a time, when married to my grandmother, Mary Ann, from Hot Springs, AR. They had 5 children: Levi (who lived most of his life in Ft. Worth with wife Ray and son, Kurt), Leon, died fairly young age, Imogene, Dorothy b. 1929, and Patsy, b. 1932. All of the children left OK, and most lived in TX areas, except Dorothy, who lived in Kansas. All but Patsy are deceased. Andrew was half-blood Indian, though not sure which tribe. I would like to know about the Indian heritage also. His mother was full-blood, but have no info on his parents. Andrew was raised at some point by an uncle who was a preacher. When Andrew came back to TX, after my grandparents divorced, I heard he re-married and had more children. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
