Hi! I have finally made a breakthrough with my Great-grandfather John Anderson Brown. If his death certificate info is correct, he was born in Grayson County on 08/23/1874. I found the address and phone number of the Grayson (TX) County Clerk online, but the webpage indicates they only have birth records from 1909. I was hoping the birth certificate will have more info on it about John's parents, William F. BROWN m. Nellie DAVIS, both from Georgia. This is the information I have been able to gather. William F. BROWN m. Nellie DAVIS in Georgia. son: John Anderson BROWN, (b. 08/23/1874 Grayson County, TX, d. 11/09/1933 Fort Worth, Tx) married (abt. 1900) Elizabeth Nellie DARTER (b 1881 , d 1968) from Grayson County, TX. (She went by Nellie E. Darter.) They lived in Grayson County, TX and then they moved to Fort Worth, Tarrant County, TX. John A. Brown worked for Swift and Company in the Stockyards of Fort Worth. They had 3 children. 1. George BROWN -(b. April 23, 1903, died ?? in California?? ) 2. Earl (Buddy) BROWN - (b. Jan. 29, 1905, Grayson County, died Dec. 10, 1992 in Fort Worth, TX, Tarrant County) 3. Blanche BROWN - (b. Nov. 27, 1906 d. 1981 in Fort Worth, TX, Tarrant County) I am sorry. I have no other dates. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Susan Black
