Searching for the name Ponett in 1860 to 1880 range in North Central TX. Mary Ponett married my Gr-Grandfather Isaac T. Brown abt 1870 Tarrant Co.TX. In their household was Mary's younger sister Harriet Ponett. The name Ponett was scratched through on the census, so it is very difficult to read. The spelling could be slightly different. In the 1860 census my Browns were in Garden Valley TX, Smith Co TX. In 1880 they were in Johnson Station,Tarrant Co.TX. Thank You Bill Bentley
