Hi to "The San Saba List": Does anyone know the exact location within San Saba County for each of the census "precincts"? For example, the 1880 census lists some of my ancestors as being in "precinct #9" when they were counted by the Census-Taker. Knowing what I already know about their land holdings I would guess that Precinct #9 was the "China Creek" community. But, I have MANY ancestors in various census' and I'll like to identify all the locations. Is there a map that shows the precincts? Or a descriptive list? Thanks!
