I am a decendent of the Arant/Arrant line dating back to the 1700's in South Carolina. My Grandfather was Joseph W. Arant, my G Grandfather was James B. Arant and my GG Grandfather was Aaron Arant of South Carolina. My Aunt Lillie Arant married first Morgan Rickman, and later married Polk Arant. I don't know if it is the same Polk or not, but they lived in St. Louis, Mo. I would be happy to share any information I have with you. Ruth Ann Arant Edge
