After posting my note to this list about the microfilm showing all the Draft Registration Cards for San Saba men during World War I, I received 18 look-up requests. I found about 35% of the names you all gave me and have just finished mailing out the copies to the lucky recipients. I still get to keep these microfilms another week; so if anyone is still interested in giving me any names to look up I will be happy to do so. If you are researching any males born between approximately 1875 and 1900 and if they were living in San Saba County 1917 - 1919, ...then feel free to give me his/their names and I will gladly check the microfilm I have on loan and see if there is a copy of the information they filled out when registering with the then newly created Selective Service bureau.
