He was my great great grandfather. I could not find the tombstone this last Saturday (Feb. 3) when we buired my dad, Ellis Kneer Taylor. I made some inquires here and someone wrote and said her ancestor was James Kanier Taylor and he married a Norman, just like mine. They have to be one in the same. Could that middle name have been spelled incorectly along the way? And what happened to that tombstone.
