Jim: Strange things happen to tombstones! A year ago last November, I was in San Saba and found that my mother's tombstone was gone and assumed that someone had stolen it. I went to the funeral home there and ordered another one and when they went to set it, they found the first one about 6" below the surface and covered with grass. THEY ACTUALLY SINK! He told me also, that the other ones in the family will likely do the same thing eventually. These days they use a different method for setting the stones and they hold up better. Good luck!...................Barbara (Ballard) Leedahl TXSSABA-D-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > Subject: > > TXSSABA-D Digest Volume 01 : Issue 13 > > Today's Topics: > #1 [TXSSABA] Taylor's and Ellis' ["James K.
