King not a son of William Rufus. He was the only member of his King family who came to San Saba Co. His eldest son William Edward was born 1852 in SC and was an early settler of present Carlsbad, NM and well acquaintedwith all his descendants. All but one of William Rufus' brothers remained in SC except John Burnett who went to AR. None of them had a William H. Wish I could help more.
