Taylor, 53, teacher) would like to find out information, especially military, law enforcement etc about my ancestors. My dad was Ellis K. Taylor (whom we just buired Sat. in Richland), his was Kelbert K. Taylor, his was Elbert N Taylor and his was James K. Taylor (my name, and what happened to the tombstone at Richland?). My granddad married Eula Lee Ellis and somewhere, there are Davenports in the family tree. I want to know about the Davenports, Ellis' and Taylors and any other ancestors around Richland and San Saba. Were any of our ancestors in the Civil War? When did they come to the best part of Texas? Were any of them in "the gang"? I have heard a lot of stories through the years I would love to share. Jim Taylor
