Does anyone have access to San Saba County records who would be willing to determine the owner at that time and give me a specific location of the dairy? Will the records show whether the owners were black or caucasian? Is there a local history book in your library that would shed some light? I don't know if these were relatives that my Williams grandparents worked for, but I am positive that they didn't own it themselves as they were quite poor. Thus far I've not found any connection to those Williams families who have solid roots in San Saba.
