We acknowledge the receipt of the announcement of the Editor's marriage, and extend congratulations, hoping their life may be one of peace and prosperity, and when the last editorial has been written that they may spend eternity where only joy is known. We learn that there are still efforts being made to have the rangers removed. We are not surprised at this, neither can we blame them, for if we belonged to such a thing we would not want such men as Capt. McDonald and his boys on our track. We have no uneasiness about their removal until their work is done. Hoping that their work may be crowned with success and the power of this diabolical organization be forever broken we shall expectantly await developments. Thanks Lisa, for the excerpt about the "San Saba Mob" This would have been about a year after my gr-grandfather, Will James was shot by the mob. It was interesting to read how it was afterward. I have always read that everyone was so afraid they wouldn't speak of it. This newspaper item shows that that was not entirely true. Margaret
