VA as were her parents son ROBERT age 27 farmer b. Ark father b. N.C. m. VA (Matilda's bro. JAMES GIBSON age 70 farmer b. VA as were his parents...was living with her) then WILLIAM PEACOCK age 10 G-son farmer b. Tx. and his parents b. Ark and Tx. and last was LILLIAN PEACOCK age 8 listed as dau.(but must have been g. dau.) b. Tx. father b. Ark. and mother Tx. Then on pg. 10 of Prect #8 Enum. on June 17 & 18 was: #129 the George A. and Mary BAKER family....they must have had a rooming house as lots of other boarders listed... living with them is: BILL PEACOCK AGE 24 (female)school teacher b. Tx father b. S.C. and mother b. Tenn. and also her sister: LEONA PEACOCK AGE 16 going to school b. Tx father b. S.C. and mother b. Tenn Then working back to the 1870 San Saba Census on July 12 family #63 is: PEACOCK, J. ALF. age 21 farming b. Tex. Joseph age 19 raising cattle b. Tex. Lurinda Z. age 16 keeping house b. Tex Laura age 11 b. Tex. Bettie age 8 b. Tex N. Alice age 3 b. Tex Then on July 2 living with fam. #10 Fred & Emily Bagly ages 25 b. Tenn and 24 b. Tex. is : WADE H. PEACOCK AGE 20 listed as a black laborer b. Tex.
