Hello San Saba, County researchers, Can someone tell me where the Poe Cemetery is located? According to the San Saba, County Cemetery book, compiled by Joyce Capps, this cemetery is located just west of the Robert Polk home. Part of the Polk Ranch was once part of the Poe place. The Poes were related to the Feazle family and the Feazles lived just west of the Poe home. The Poes moved to the vicinity in the 1850's. Any information would be appreciated. My grandmother was Amanda Elizabeth (Jamar) Harvey and I believe probably a first cousin of Annie's father Samuel Fletcher Jamar. I have been researching and have lots of info on the Jamars. The Larkin middle name of Sam's oldest son Jim came from the Jamars. Amanda's father and grandfather were both named Larkin. I am looking for info on who was Sam's Father. I am pretty sure Jim was born in 1899 in Ratler Community of Mills Co, like my mother. There were many Jamars and Harveys there for the 1900 census. I am pretty sure also that Sam was born near Alto, Richland Parish, LA like my Grandmother and all her siblings were.. Any info would be appreciated. Burt
