Stephen KING moved to Panola County, TX. sometime after 1850. He was married to Sarah Ellington Dupree. They were married in AL. Both are buried in Woods Cemetery, a few miles from Center, TX. Emma Carruthers Bryan married Henry (Van Buren) P. King in Panola County, in 1865. Several of the Bryans married Kings. Allen Bryan married Sarah Alena Pou in S.C. and moved to Panola County in 1854. They are both buried in Woods Cemetery. I have a great deal of information on the King line, but would like to share additional information with anyone researching the POU and BRYAN families.
