Several SC Historical Society members meet today and went out to the Forbis Cemetery, CR. 1024, off 711 near Jericho Community. The cemetery is located on the property of Danny Tomlin. It was chilly. The caretaker of the cemetery, Archie Anderson, keep up the area for many years and also revamped old headstones and placed new ones when the old markers were destroyed. Mr. Anderson died several years ago and the cemetery has really grown up. Thick as dogs hair. The groups findings will be put on the rootweb site when finished. Here are the last names found: Hatton Hughes Frampson Samford Mills Connell Snider Forbis The only Confederate Soldier marker was on William F. Mills headstone. Co. A. 28 Texas Cav., CSA. No dates.
