John & Nancy were the parents of my grandfather, William Wessley Lindsey, from Lincoln parish Louisiana,who married Eva Meador in 1898 .I'm not sure where they were mannied,however, I do know that by 1906 they had moved to Nacogodoches county.Then I find out that my grandmother,Eva Meador, was the daughter of A W Meador & Ola Martin from Martinsville,Tx. My father,Willie Bill Lindsey was born in Stockman, and lived in Timpson before coming to Cherokee county in 1921. I am trying to find out the names of my gg grandparents (Lindseys) and if they were living in Nacogodoches or Shelby county in 1848 when my g grandfather, John Lindsey was born.I have looked at the 1850 census and found a Robert E. Lindsey ,But i'm not convinced Robert E. is my gg grandfather.He isn't shown to be burried in Nacogodoches county.If anyone knows anything about any of this , please let me know.
