Coe who was born in April 1872 in Louisiana and is listed in the 1900 census of Shelby County, TX. He reportedly died in Shelby County about 1903. I have been able to put together only limited information on the family of George W. Coe. He married a woman named Emma and they had at least one son, Ira Coe, who was born in Oct. 1898 and married Bertha Boozer. Ira and Bertha had at least two children: a child born Jan. 11, 1928; and a son William Douglas Coe, born Feb. 16, 1933. Both were born in Shelby County, TX. Ira Coe died in Shelby County, April 4, 1981.=20 I see that there was also a Jay Coe in Shelby County. There was also an Eva Nell Coe born Sept. 3, 1936, in Shelby County. =20 If you have any record of these families or could put me in contact with someone who might I would be extremely grateful.
