CALENDAR OF EVENTS FALL SEMINAR Sept. 18, 1999 9:30AM  Timpson High School Libary Speaker: F.E. ABERNETHY, PHD Dr. Abernethy is retired from Stephen F. Austin State University but maintains his office and staff because hi is one of the most popular speakers in the East Texas area.  In addition, he is the editor of the TEXAS FOLKLORE SOCIETY's annual publications since 1971.  Futher, his love of folklore keeps him active in the Lanana Creek Trail Society as well as working on historical exhibits.  Dr. Abernethy has also authored or edited numerous books. Lunch will be served at Noon. RONNIE WOLFE will also be here to help enterain.  PEACHES CONWAY, Shelby County Clerk, will be there to answer questions concerning Shelby County records. After Dr. Abernethy's presentation beginning at 10:00AM, he will answer questions.  He will also direct a workshop in which will refine search skills.  Please bring your ancestor information if you wish to work on this at the seminar.
