Hello, I was wondering if there are records to find out if someone served in WW 1? My great grandfather was of age to serve but I have no knowledge of any military service for anyone of my lines at the time of WW 1. Did the men not feel it their duty like they did in WW 2? Any one have any thoughts on this. Researching BUSSEY, LEVERETTE in Shelby county and back to SC by way of GA. Carolyn
