John William Parker was born about 1884 in Shelby County and married Florence Wheeler (dau of Lycurgus Wheeler and Amanda Choate) probably in about 1910. I have combed carefully through the HISTORY OF SHELBY COUNTY which our local library has a copy of and found quite a bit on Wheelers and Choates, but virtually nothing on this family of Parkers. I know John William and Florence had at least one son, John Buren Parker, born 27 Jun 1913 at Center and married Maurie Denoice Reeves 27 oct 1934 in Center. I am wondering if you have any further information on John William and possibly who his parents were? Any help you can give me, or direction you can suggest, would be greatly appreciated.
