Although I am going away from my computer for several days, I would like to leave a message for all of the good, hard working folks such as Leonard Irish who just posted his work on the Lone Oak Cemetary and for Ray Jackson for his incredible work and EVERYBODY ELSE who has done work on the cemeteries of Shelby County, Texas. The message is that I would like to give some input on the Cassel Cemetary (BEFORE IT IS POSTED ON-LINE) to the person who is going to put it on line. If no one has volunteered to do it, I will do it. The Cassel Cemetary is small as far as the numbers of tombstones go, but as with any of the cemeteries, there is some history behind it. My great-great grandmother, Delilah Ann Carroll Booth Paul (08 July 1838-07 November 1892) is buried there and I have been going there since the early 1960's.
