Our Building and Grounds Fund 1999 fund raising campaign is underway. This summer the student interns are mailing out over 2500 letters to Shelby Countians. We need their continued support to complete the project started in 1998. Donation Boxes have been placed around Shelby County. Thanks to everyone who has responded with a donation. __________________+++++++++++++++++_________________ Programs : July - No program scheduled due to remodeling, cataloging, inventorying August - Reba Jernigan Powers, genealogist and researcher, will speak to our group August 26th. Bring your questions to this informative workshop. EX. Hard to find relatives, resources on the computer, links, etc... She will give us some pointers to make research go more smoothly. September - Speaker TBA October - Speaker TBA November - Election of officers for 2000 and two board members for the Museum. David Chadwick and Frances Oates' terms are expiring. The Shelby County Museum will part of the Christmas Tour of Homes. We will be decorated to the hilt!
