WE NEED YOUR HELP IN LOCATING OUR LIVING HISTORY. Part of a grant from Center for East Texas Studies is helping us conduct oral histories of people in our area. WHAT IS AN ORAL HISTORY? It is a tape recorded interview with a person(s) that lived during a time and can recall that special event, happening or person. Once the history is recorded it will then be transcribe and place on computer disk for archiving. FOREVER. Special restrictions on use of the document may be impossed by the interview. The society has people willing and able to go to the homes or they may come to the museum. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
