OUR GENEALOGY RESEARCH LIBRARY IS UP TO DATE AND WE NEED YOUR FAMILY HISTORIES. The Shelby County Historical Society needs your family history no matter if it only goes back one or two generations or eight or more. Please take a minute or two and write down your family, births dates/deaths, parents, siblings etc. give as much or as little. Every bit of information only improves our Research Library now and 30 years from know. For those of you that have the research done, please send us a copy by email, or regular mail or drop it off by the Museum in Center. If you need some help give us a call. We have over 300 individual family histories on file and over 80 books done by families genealogists. Also we have over 1100 research books to help. This would be a great project for kids in the family.
