My g-g-g-grandfather was John Tamplin, born 1806 in Jones Co, GA. I have been told that he eventually came to Texas but I have never been able to confirm that. He would have been about 64 yrs old in 1870. His wife's name was Elizabeth Ann "Betsey" Tamplin. I would certainly appreciate any help you could provide. Thanks so much.
