This is my first posting to this list. I have traced my Mills and Jackson family to Shelby Co;Texas. I have plenty to share. Need some help from 1900 on. William K.P. (W.K.P.) Mills was born Nov.1845 Cass Co.(Bartow);GA. He married Susanna Anderson born Aug. 1863 in Jackson Co; IN. They had the following children all born in Hempstead Co; Arkansas. William A. J., Ruth(dec.)Thomas R., Nora Francis, John F., Jacob E., Oscar A., George H., Edgar L. Mills. This family is listed on the 1900 Shelby Co; TX census. William K. P. Mills died after 1900 census and is buried in Haxley, Carroll Cemetery along with two of his children. His sister was living next door to him. Melvina Jackson born March 1855 in Cass Co.(Bartow) GA. she is listed as a widow. Her husband's name was Franklin"Knox" Jackson born in Tennessee. Children to this marriage is known to be George A.,(sp. Eurrella Brown) he died in Daxton, Liberty Co;Texas,2nd known child is Mattey J., then Thomas M., and Allen F. Jackson. Other children known going by the 1900 census isWilburn, Sallie F. Jackson all born in Arkansas. If anyone can help me on my line of Mills and Jackson families I would really appreciate it.
