I need some info about the records in Shelby Co., please. If someone was convicted in 1896 of 2nd degree murder, how would one go about finding the records that would show what he did and to whom - the trial records - or court records? He went to prison in Huntsville, and was pardoned in 1901, but, the record from the TX Archives, shows him also at these locations: Rusk in 1896; C. C. & C. Co. in 1899; Huntsville in 1899; Eastham in 1899; and pardoned in 1901. Could someone help me out and explain these places of location, as in are these prison work facilities, or what? Sallie
